Green Journey Farm is hosting their first ever off-grid, permaculture camp for all ages. Come observe the first year of development on our sustainable farm and experience a weekend living the life! There will be earthship building, food forest design and planting, hiking, camping, gardening, relaxation, and community. This event will be fun for the whole family!
Registration is $20 per adult and $10 per child (ages 7-17). Kids 6 and under free.
Garbage area (please consider anything reusable/ recyclables if possible however I understand diapers are a huge necessity!)
Outhouse facility with a composting toilet.
There will be an outdoor hand washing station as well as filtered drinking water available.
We have a couple of small grills we use wood chips to cook with. We may not be able to have a campfire due to extremely dry conditions in the area.
Recommended to bring a tent, sleeping pad/ blankets, cooler, food, drinks, headlamps/ flashlights, hiking boots/ good grip tennis shoes, sun protection (hats, long sleeves, or sun screen), and bug repellent if you wish.
The nearest convenience store is about five miles away and is CASH only. The next place for groceries/ supplies is about 20 miles away so it is best to come with everything you’ll need.
